BARROW OF BOOZE RAFFLE APPEAL!!
Dear all,
In August, Llanarmon holds a fabulous potato comp event at the Raven pub where people compete with potatoes they’ve grown since April for the heaviest crop… it’s a fabulous night and the PTA were kindly asked to hold a raffle on the night which is amazing as we can make lots of money for school.
We will fill a wheelbarrow full of booze and raffle it off (barrow not included unless we can get a donation from somewhere).
If you can, please can you donate an alcoholic drink that I could add to the wheelbarrow? Anything of any shape or size! It will be stored away until August but we are organising now as the summer fair will take priority soon.
If you can spare something, please drop off at either site or with Anna at MAES Y LLAN FARM, MILL LANE LLANARMON YN IAL, CH74QF. Donations there can be left in the porch. Or at the village shop labelled for Anna, PTA. We have bottles of wine left over from the Christmas fair so already have a good base for the prize.
The money raised through your amazing donations mean the children benefit from extras in school. We have recently been able to help with early years resources, craft supplies and things like outdoor spaces and new books are being looked at.
Please help us continue the fundraising!
