Virtual Easter Balloon Race 9th April
What we are raising money for:
Ysgol Bro Famau PTFA are raising money towards buying new laptops for the children to use during lessons.
The Race:
We are hoping that our supporters will buy plenty of virtual balloons and enjoy watching them progress during the Easter race!
Overall Race Prizes:
1st: £100 cash
2nd: Alexa /Echo dot 4th generation
Ysgol Bro Famau PTFA will also award a £10 cash prize to the balloon that travels the furthest out of those balloons bought through our page. You will need to tick that you are happy for your details to be passed to us so that we can contact you if you win.
How it works:
The site uses real weather patterns to predict where and how fast your balloon will travel. Can you get the rubber thickness and helium content balance right for the weather conditions to get your balloon to travel the furthest without popping? Why not buy several balloons to try out different combinations and in case one pops!
What you need to do:
2. Buy balloons by clicking on the ‘buy balloons for you’ button (only £3 each)
3. Alternatively go to ‘ecoracing’ homepage and choose buy a balloon on the dropdown then search for ‘bro famau’
4. Decorate your balloon and choose what helium content and thickness may get your balloon to travel the furthest. This can be modified before the race.
5. Watch the race start on April 9th. at 12 noon.
6. Login to track your balloons on their journey and see if any are in a winning position as many times as you want over the 7 days
