Class 4: Outdoor maths lesson
We found examples of angles our outdoor environment, we looked at the different types of triangles and explored how we calculate the area of right-angled triangles.
Class 2: Active Maths
Year 1 and 2 enjoyed their active maths session. there were lots of jumping jacks and frog jumps as we practised our place value, addition, and subtraction skills.
Class 2: Earth Day
We celebrated Earth Day on April 22nd by creating our own Earth out of milk bottle tops. We spoke about the importance of the 3 R’s; Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
Class 1: Baby animals hunt in the woods.
Nursery and Reception used the iPads to scan the QR Code and found some baby animals in the woods. We found cubs, pup, kittens, and calves amongst others.
