Families First and Flying Start are holding a Family Focus – Information Sharing Event for children, young people, parents, carers and professionals at Rhyl Town Hall in the Easter holidays.
We have 30 stands of organisations who support families in Denbighshire from Families First & Flying Start, Health, Education, Money Matters, Energy and lots more.
As this takes place during the school holidays our aim is to make this event a fun and interactive day out for families and all stands in attendance will be providing an activity for children to partake in, whilst their parents gather information. We also have in attendance the Easter Bunny and Alice in Wonderland who will be providing entertainment. For the older children we have TAPE in attendance, who will, from 12pm, be providing a drop-in workshop where children/young people can create an animated video which will then be produced and sent to them following the event for them to share.
This is a free event and each family that attends will be given a free raffle ticket to win prizes such as Air Fryers, Slow Cookers, Hampers, Day out vouchers and more. This draw will take place at 2pm on the day by Councillor Gill German.
